U.S. 441 south
Approaching the southbound beginning of Florida 429 Toll (Daniel Webster Western Beltway) along U.S. 441 (Orange Blossom Trail) southbound in Apopka. Photo taken 02/02/08.
Florida 429 Toll provides a high-speed route to downtown Orlando via connections with Florida's Turnpike and Florida 408 Toll and to Tampa via the south end at junction Interstate 4 in northwest Osceola County. Photo taken 02/02/08.
The Western Beltway travels south nine miles to Winter Garden and Ocoee (junction Florida 438). Photo taken 02/02/08.
Drivers bound for Florida 429 Toll south depart U.S. 441 (Orange Blossom Trail) at a half-diamond interchange. The interchange includes provisions for the unconstructed northern extension of Florida 429 along the Wekiva Parkway. However the provisions were premature as that alignment was cancelled and now Florida 429 Toll will extend northwest along Florida 414 Toll to U.S. 441 at Orange Avenue). Photo taken 02/02/08.
U.S. 441 leaves the current north end of Florida 429 Toll (Daniel Webster Western Beltway) half-diamond interchange in Apopka. Florida 429 Toll will eventually travel west along the John Land Apopka Expressway with Florida 414 Toll to provide a bypass of congested U.S. 441 through Apopka. Upon completion, existing Florida 429 Toll north to U.S. 441 will be renumbered Florida 451 Toll. Photo taken 11/04/06.

Orange County 437A pentagon posted ahead of the intersection with Central Avenue in downtown Apopka. Orange County 437A represents a partially signed route leading south from Apopka to Florida 429 Toll and Orange County 437 (Binion Road) at north Ocoee. Photo taken 11/04/06.

Central Avenue continues north to Orange Street before ending at Dream Lake. Central Avenue south carries Orange County 437A to Michael Gladden Boulevard. Photo taken 11/04/06.
One block east of Orange County 437A is Orange County 435 (Park Avenue). Like County 437A, County 435 is equally signed sparingly. Following Park Avenue south, Orange County 435 heads onto Clarcona Road and North Apopka-Vineland Road to Clarcona and Pine Hills. Orange County 435 north travels out to Wekiwa Springs State Park, Kelly Park, and into Lake County. Photo taken 11/04/06.
Pushing east, U.S. 441 (Orange Blossom Trail) south nears the split with Florida 436 (Semoran Boulevard). Semoran Boulevard comprises a busy arterial east to Forest City and Altamonte Springs. Photo taken 11/04/06.
U.S. 441 bends southeast at the split with Florida 436 (Semoran Boulevard). Florida 436 begins and heads two miles east to the Seminole County line. The state road travels overall between Apopka and Orlando International Airport at the Beachline Expressway (Florida 528 Toll). Photo taken 11/04/06.
Southbound at the signalized intersection with Roger Williams Road near Piedmont. Roger Williams Road provides a short connector between U.S. 441 (Orange Blossom Trail) and Florida 436 (Semoran Boulevard). Photo taken 11/04/06.
U.S. 441 nips the corner of Seminole County between Piedmont and Lockhart. Photo taken 11/04/06.
Just south of the Florida Central Railroad overpass is junction Florida 414 (Maitland Boulevard) at Lockhart. Florida 414 currently begins here and stems east to junction Interstate 4 and Maitland. The controlled-access arterial includes an interchange with Florida 434 (Forest City Road), Wymore Road, and U.S. 17 & 92 (Orlando Avenue) at the eastern terminus. Photo taken 11/04/06.
A traffic light governs the movements between U.S. 441 (Orange Blossom Trail) south at Florida 414 (Maitland Boulevard) east. Construction commenced in January of 2007 on Florida 414 Toll (John Land Apopka Expressway). Planned as the eventual U.S. 441 bypass of Apopka, John Land Apopka Expressway will extend to Florida 429 Toll (Western Beltway) by late 2009. A partial-cloverleaf interchange will replace the current at-grade intersection with U.S. 441 by 2009 as well. Photo taken 11/04/06.
