U.S. Highway 192 - Florida

U.S. 192 Highway Guides

U.S. 192 west
U.S. 192 (New Haven Avenue) westbound on the approach to Interstate 95 (Exit 180). The two highways cross paths at a diamond interchange on the western periphery of Melbourne. Photo taken 05/06/06.
Interstate 95 north continues to Viera, Cocoa, and Titusville in northern Brevard on the 170-mile drive to Jacksonville. Photo taken 05/06/06.
U.S. 192 west & 441 north split at the Vine Street intersection with Main Street north of downtown Kissimmee. Main Street exits the central business district via Broadway Avenue, becoming U.S. 17-92-441 north of Vine Street to Orange Blossom Trail. Orange Blossom Trail meets Osceola Parkway near the Orange County line. Photos taken 08/26/07.
U.S. 441 joins U.S. 17 north & 92 east between Kissimmee and central Orlando. U.S. 17 south & 92 west combine with U.S. 192 (Vine Street) west between Main Street and Bermuda Avenue. Main Street south (former U.S. 17-92) continues southward to Broadway Avenue and Emmett Street on a loop through the Kissimmee central business district. Photo taken 08/26/07.

Approaching Orange Lake Boulevard on the six-lane U.S. 192. Orange Lake Boulevard spurs into the Orange Lake Country Club subdivision, one of many communities that now exist along the route west of Florida 429 Toll. Photo taken 12/29/05.
Orange County 545 (Avalon Boulevard) and Westside Drive tie into U.S. 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway) at the final Orange County traffic light. Avalon Boulevard carries the county road north to Florida 50 (West Colonial Drive). Photo taken 12/29/05.
18 miles separate U.S. 192 via Orange County 545, a vastly unsigned county road, and the city of Winter Garden. Westside Drive ties into the county road end from the south, serving new sprawl through to Goodman Road. Photo taken 12/29/05.
U.S. 192 enters Lake County along the Polk County line after departing Orange County. The area is appropriately known as Four Corners. U.S. 27, the main drive between Haines City and Clermont, lies one mile ahead. Photo taken 12/29/05.
The first of two sign bridges for the trumpet interchange of U.S. 192 west at U.S. 27. There is no end sign posted. Photo taken 12/29/05.
U.S. 192 ends as traffic partitions into U.S. 27. Northbound U.S. 27 angles toward Clermont through an almost solid sea of residential sprawl. Southward is not much different, with the sprawl climaxing at the new Posner Park development near Interstate 4. Photo taken 12/29/05.
