U.S. 19 South
U.S. 19 constitutes a busy six-lane commercial arterial essentially from Weeki Wachee in Hernando County southward to Tarpon Springs and Palm Harbor in northern Pinellas County. East of Dunedin, the highway upgrades into the first of several freeway segments leading south into Pinellas Park. Beyond the intersection with Republic Drive, U.S. 19 partitions with a frontage road system at Evans Road, a short connector road leading west to Pinellas County 501 (Belcher Road). Florida 580 (Main Street) meets U.S. 19 at a single point urban interchange utilizing the adjacent frontage roads. The east-west highway travels overall between U.S. 19 Alternate (Broadway) in downtown Dunedin to U.S. 92 (Dale Mabry Highway) in Tampa.
