U.S. Highway 19 Northbound
Ascending from U.S. 74 and the Great Smoky Mountain Expressway on U.S. 19 (Alarka Road) northbound. U.S. 19 travels three miles northeast into downtown Bryson City along the banks of the Tuckasegee River. Photo taken 08/13/04.
U.S. 19 northbound merges with U.S. 441 northbound east of Birdtown. The two highways arc one half mile northeast to U.S. 441 Business (Tsalagi Road) outside of Cherokee. U.S. 441 carries motorists five miles southeast to junction U.S. 74 and the Great Smoky Mountain Expressway.
