The four-lane divided highway constitutes a controlled-access expressway with some grade separations. Tennessee State Secondary 357 North Tennessee State Secondary 75 (Bristol Highway) widens to four lanes with a grass median through the Tri-Cities Regional Airport area at junction Tennessee State Secondary 357 (Airport Parkway). Now on Tennessee State Secondary 357 (Airport Parkway) northbound, drivers leave the half-diamond interchange with Bristol Highway and continue north to Kingsport. Shipley Ferry Road travels southwest to Gottland Shoal Road and the Holston River area from Airport Parkway. Like the grade separation with Cenenary Road, a short connector road joins Airport Parkway with Shipley Ferry Road below. The diamond interchange between Interstate 81 and Tennessee State Secondary 357 (Airport Parkway) and Browder Road is not high-speed and features an array of travel-based services. Tennessee State Secondary 357 South Tennessee State Secondary 357 (Airport Parkway) leaves the Interstate 81 diamond interchange (Exit 63) and approaches Shipley Ferry Road. Tennessee State Secondary 357 leads directly into the Tri-Cities Regional Airport terminal. A loop road continues through the 1968-built terminal east of Tennessee State Secondary 75 (Bristol Highway).
