Southbound at the Exit 157 ramp departure to U.S. 76. U.S. 76 follows Palmetto Street through downtown Florence, joining U.S. 301 on the 15-mile eastward drive to Pee Dee. West of Florence and Timmonsville, the federal highway continues southwest 20 miles to the city of Sumter and its merge with U.S. 378.
