Business Loop I-95 is the only business route remaining in use along Interstate 95. The loop travels nine miles northwest from Interstate 95 to the city limits of Fayetteville. The original Exit 58 diamond interchange with U.S. 13 saw expansion to a directional-cloverleaf with Future Interstate 295 after 2000. U.S. 13 otherwise begins here and travels east 16 miles to Spivey's Corner (junction U.S. 421) and 24 miles to Newton Grove (Junction U.S. 701). Long distance interests to Goldsboro and Kinston should use U.S. 13 east from Interstate 95 in lieu of remaining on the freeway to U.S. 70.
