Interstate 75

Marion County - Northbound

North Interstate 75
The first exit in Marion County is Exit 341, Junction Marion County Route 484 east to Belleview (Junction U.S. 27-301-441) and west to Marion Oaks and Dunnellon (Junction U.S. 41). On this particular guide sign, the county shield is shown with a square yellow background, which has become fairly common in Florida through the 1990s and 2000s, especially along the state highway system. Note that northbound Interstate 75 has three lanes, the third of which was constructed in phases north of Wildwood in the 1990s and 2000s. Photo taken 01/16/04.
The next exit along northbound Interstate 75 is Exit 350, Junction Florida 200 northeast to Ocala and southwest to Hernando. A diagonal route established in 1946, Florida 200 angles southwest to northeast, originating in Inverness at the junction of U.S. 41 and Florida 44 and extending northeast as an extant route from Hernando to Ocala. From Ocala to near Sparr, Florida 200 is the secret designation for U.S. 301-441. From Sparr northeast to Callahan via Starke, U.S. 301 and Florida 200 are cosigned. At Callahan, Florida 200 turns east along Florida A1A to its northeastern terminus at Fernandina Beach. Photo taken 01/16/04.
The second Ocala interchange is Exit 352, which is Florida 40/Silver Spring Boulevard. Exit 352 is not photographed. Use Florida 40 east to Ocala, Ormond Beach, and Daytona Beach through the Ocala National Forest 354, and use Florida 40 west to Rainbow Lake Estates and Dunnellon. This picture shows the third Ocala interchange, Exit 354, Junction U.S. 27/Blitchton Road northwest to Williston and southeast to Ocala (via NW Tenth Street). Photo taken 01/16/04.
The final Ocala interchange is Exit 358, Junction Florida 326. Take Florida 326 east to reach Zuber and Marion County Route 25A south to Ocala, and Silver Springs (Junction Florida 40). This route is a bypass of Ocala to the north, thus allowing a bypass route for Interstate 75 traffic to Silver Springs. In the other direction, use Marion County Route 326 west to Morriston (Junction U.S. 41) and Gulf Hammock (Junction U.S. 19-98). Photo taken 01/16/04.
The next exit along northbound is Exit 368, Junction Marion County Route 318 east to Orange Lake (Junction U.S. 441), Citra (Junction U.S. 301), and Orange Springs (Junction Marion County Route 315) and west to Williston (Junction U.S. 27-41 and Florida 121). After this interchange, Interstate 75 departs from Marion County and enters Alachua County. Photo taken 01/16/04.
