A partial cloverleaf interchange composes the junction of the freeway with U.S. 41 (Northside Drive). Northside Drive travels through the western reaches of the central business district of Atlanta to Interstate 75 and Memorial Park. Four miles to the north the federal highway sees a second interchange with the north-south freeway at Exit 256. Photo taken 08/22/03. The close proximity of the directional cloverleaf allows for two separate ramps to Exit 260 (Windy Hill Road) from the Interstate 75 mainline and Interstate 285 connecting ramps. Interstate 75 gains capacity between Windy Hill Road and Exit 260 (Delk Road). The upcoming partial cloverleaf interchange intersects the eastern terminus of Georgia 280 along Delk Road. Similar to variable message signs in the state of Texas, VMS in the Atlanta area display travel times and other advisories due to accidents, congestion, and closures for the associated freeway. Attached to the Algood Road overpass is the 0.75 mile guide sign of Exit 267A (Canton Road Connector). The Canton Road Connector composes an expressway northeast from U.S. 41 (Cobb Parkway) and Georgia 5 (Church Street) to Interstate 75 and Canton Road (Georgia 754). Photo taken 08/22/03.
