Florida 727 is another loop road west of Pensacola that links Florida 292 (Gulf Beach Highway) to U.S. 90 (Mobile Highway) and Florida 295 (Fairfield Drive). The highway follows Fairfield Drive southwest of the Florida 295 expressway as it passes through the Myrtle Grove community. But where exactly is the northern terminus? A junction Florida 727 shield is located on Florida 295 southbound at the split of the expressway with Fairfield Drive. However, Florida 727 shields are posted erroneously along Florida 295 from this point north to Florida 292/Pace Boulevard.
