| The final distance to Alternate U.S. 19 is a six-lane freeway. | At the other end, westbound Florida 666 crosses Boca Ciega Bay and prepares to reach its end at Florida 699 (Gulf Boulevard) in Madeira Beach. High rise condominiums offer incredible views of the beach and sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. Florida 699 travels north-south along the barrier island that separates mainland Pinellas County from the storied beaches of Pinellas County. To the north is Redington Beach, North Redington Beach, Redington Shores, and Indian Shores. To the south is Treasure Island, St. Petersburg Beach, and Pass-A-Grille Beach. Photo taken 12/21/03. |
|
| Upon reaching the signalized intersection with Florida 699, the left lane from Florida 666 turns left onto southbound Florida 699, while the right lane merges onto northbound Florida 699. This marks the western terminus of Florida 666 -- no end signs are present. Photo taken 12/21/03 & 09/08/06. |
