Orange County 437A follows Central Avenue south from its beginning at U.S. 441 (Main Street) in downtown Apopka. One block south of Main Street is the signalized intersection with Fifth Street. Photo taken 02/02/08.
A lone shield for Orange County 437A resides at the Central Avenue intersection with Michael Gladden Boulevard. An arrow would be helpful but is missing from the assembly, as County 437A makes a westerly turn onto Michael Gladden Boulevard for Ocoee-Apopka Road south. Photo taken 02/02/08.
Florida 429 Toll trailblazer posted along Ocoee-Apopka Road south after the turn from Michael Gladden Boulevard. A half-diamond interchange with the Western Beltway lies within two miles. Photo taken 02/02/08.
After the construction zone with future Florida 414 Toll (John Land Apopka Expressway), Orange County 437A nears the southbound on-ramp to Florida 429 Toll (Western Beltway). Construction of the new Apopka Expressway will result in a new toll road from Ocoee-Apopka Road east to U.S. 441 (OBT). Interim ramps will join Florida 429 Toll to Florida 414 Toll via Orange County 437A. Photo taken 02/02/08.
The local control cities of Ocoee and Winter Garden are used in lieu of Orlando and Tampa at the southbound on-ramp to Florida 429 Toll from Orange County 437A (Ocoee-Apopka Road) south. Florida 414 Toll westbound drivers will use this connection until phase II of the Apopka Expressway project is built. When that occurs, this half-diamond interchange will be demolished and replaced with a full diamond interchange to the south. Photo taken 02/02/08.
A rare Orange County 437A southbound reassurance markers directs drivers along Ocoee-Apopka Road southbound beyond the Exit 30 off-ramp from Florida 429 Toll north. Photo taken 02/02/08.
Traveling south along Orange County 437A at the future diamond interchange with the Western Beltway. Provisions are in place along Ocoee-Apopka Road at Florida 429 Toll for a potential future four-laning. With increased development of orange groves west of Apopka, traffic demands are expected to increase. Photo taken 02/02/08.

Orange County 437A officially ends after 3.965 miles at Binion Road (former Orange County 437) just south of the future Western Beltway interchange. Binion Road meanders northward along Lake Apopka to Orange Avenue in Apopka. Access to Lake Apopka is provided at Magnolia County Park. Photo taken 02/02/08.
