17 miles constitute Alabama 182 along the southern extant of Baldwin County. The roadway is known as Beach Boulevard from the western end to Gulf Shores. Eastward toward Florabama at the stateline, Alabama 182 is designated Perdido Beach Boulevard. The Perdido Bay and River represent the state line between Alabama and Florida. This state highway carries four overall lanes with a continuous center turn lane. At the eastern terminus, Alabama 182 becomes Florida 292 en route to Warrington and Pensacola. Counties: Baldwin

A myriad of shields reside at the Alabama 182 (Beach Boulevard) eastbound junction with the southern terminus of Alabama 59 (Gulf Shores Parkway). Gulf Shores Parkway not only provides the main north-south strip through Gulf Shores, but also one of only two crossings over the Intracoastal Waterway to the Baldwin County mainland (the Foley Beach Express constituting the other crossing).
