Alabama 134

Alabama 134 is the main through route for the southeastern Alabama cities of Opp (pop. 6,607), Enterprise (pop. 21,178), and Daleville (pop. 4,653). The route links to U.S. 84 at the west end and U.S. 231 northwest of Dothan (pop. 57,737). The state highway continues from U.S. 231 eastward to Headland (pop. 3,523) and a terminus at Alabama 95 near Columbia (pop. 804). Counties: Covington, Coffee, Dale, Henry

Two state highways find their terminus in the city of Opp. One is Alabama 52, the other is Alabama 134. Alabama 134 finds its conclusion at U.S. 84 & 331 in downtown. Photo taken 11/25/01.
An end Alabama 134 shield is posted at the western terminus. U.S. 84 and 331 begin their overlap just south of here and just north of the western terminus of Alabama 52. For motorists wishing to continue westward, U.S. 84 reaches U.S. 29 and the Covington County seat of Andalusia in 13 miles. Photo taken 11/25/01.
